Vicente Martinez Rivas, was born on July 19, 1947 to Juan and Isabel Martinez in Juchipila, Zacatecas. He was a great man that overcame every obstacle with a smile on his face. He was selfless, helped anyone in need and had the Lord in his heart. He was happily married to his surviving wife, Amelia Martinez, for 47 years. The joy in his life were his four children Isabel, Aida, Vicente, and Yesenia and his four grandchildren Mekaela, Doran, Jayden, and Alyssa. He was blessed with wonderful loving sons-in-law Taisir and Mathew and a loving daughter-in-law Gloria. He loved being outdoors and his favorite thing to do was taking care of his ranches and cattle. He was loved by so many and will be truly missed.
Services will be held at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Carlsbad on Thursday, Feb. 10, 2022 at 10 am, followed by burial at Eternal Hills Memorial Park in Oceanside.
