Hello everyone. I'd like to take a moment to fondly remember my beloved Aunt Virginia. For my wife, Mary, and me, she was someone very special. Not only was she, along with my uncle, David Sr., our maid of honor, but she was also a very important figure in our lives. When our first child was born, they didn't hesitate to welcome us into their home with all their love and hospitality. I always remember the laughter and stories she shared with my mother, Benita Montañez. Whether in Oceanside or Tijuana, our visits were always a source of joy. And how can I forget those Halloween nights when we took our children trick-or-treating and my aunt waited for us with her exquisite dishes, always cooked with love? My Aunt Virginia was generous, cheerful, and full of affection. Her presence was always a hug for the soul. Mary and I will always carry her in our hearts, with gratitude and deep love. Thank you.

My Grandmother, there has and never will be a grandma like her.  She was often heard telling stories infused with laughter and jokes. We learned quickly that we had to stay on our toes because Grandmother would be ready with the next punch line, keeping those around her laughing. Sometimes she had us laughing at ourselves and we didn't even care. Our hearts and bellies stayed full at all times when Grandmother was around. I am grateful for her showing me the power in cooking for your family and friends. Her food was so powerful. She would cook, and everyone would come together. Sometimes the only sounds you'd hear during family meals was the clanging of spoons and forks scraping against the bowls and plates, which for our family it's a miracle if we're all quiet. 😉 This will be a difficult time for our family, but we each have a little bit of her alive in us. We will keep her memory alive by sharing stories with our younger generations. I love you Grandmother enjoy your ride with Grandfather in your purdy van.

Virgie , Grandmother, my Mama's Comadre, will be deeply missed. I've known Virginia since I was 5 years old. Her fiery spirit and humor was the best and her cooking even better! I will always hold onto the hilarious stories my Sister Sylvia, David, and Mandi would tell me she said or did. I am truly blessed to have been part  of her extended family.

When I remember my grandma, two things come to mind that make me smile, she would call me Frankie because she said I walked like Frankenstein when I would put my arms out to give her a hug and her making me homemade tortillas♥️

To my other mother Virginia, she was a loving woman I used to go to her house all the time, and she would joke with me all the time and would make me laugh. She sure will be missed. I loved her with all my heart rest in peace Mom, Virginia.

I Love you So Much Mama 💛 You are going to be missed today , tomorrow and always 💛

We will miss our trips to Bates Nut Farm. 
 Virgie I miss your laughter.  It's hard to imagine life without you,  I will always hold you in my heart.
