William Rizo Gonzalez

William (Billy, Bill) went to school at Holy Cross Church and Cathedral High School both in Los Angeles. He attended Cal Tech Trade school, Long Beach City College and graduated from Cal State Long Beach.

Met Diane, his future wife and they married on October 5, 1957.

While raising a family, William worked for several companies including telephone companies (Pacific Bell, General Telephone and Western Electric ), airline industries (Western, American and Delta Airlines), financial institution - Quotron Systems and Atlantic Richfield. Post retirement , William taught computers and communication skills classes in Anaheim, California.

William entered his eternal life on Monday, August 5, 2024 surrounded by his love ones. William is survived by his wife: Diane Eleanor Gonzalez. Their four children and their spouses: Christina Roth (John “Pete” Weathers) of Huntington Beach, CA., William (Bill) A. Gonzalez of Oceanside, CA., Cynthia (Cindy) Gonzalez of Rockwall, Tx and Jeffrey Gonzalez (Kim) of Madison, WI.

He is also survived by six grandchildren and their spouses: Daniel Roth (Xenia), Melissa Roth (Bobby Martinez), Jennifer Crenshaw (Paul), Amanda Burns (Sean), Brittany Bates (Jason) and Madeline Lovesick-Gonzalez. Also is survived by 11 great grandchildren: Austin and Kailey Crenshaw, Brooklynn and Daniel Roth, Brayden, Benjamin, baby Christopher Burns, Elaine and Ryan Bates, Khalia Rose and Egypt Kemet. William is survived by his nephew/niece and their spouses: John Digiacento (Peggy), Jan Charrier (Greg) and many cousins including Bennie Carlos and Mary (Wetta) Evitch.

William lived his life to the fullest, was our protector and life educator. He showed us the world and provided the best possible life. UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN WITH ALL OUR LOVE

In lieu of flowers to family is asking to donate to the Alzheimer’s Association in care of the memory of William Ruiz Gonzalez.
