William Sheldon Pierce was born on December 2, 1925 in Grand Island, Nebraska. A veteran of World War II, he was a rocket engineer for Rockwell International, and then later, General Dynamics. He entered into rest on June 4, 2018 in Encinitas, California.
He is survived by his daughter, Carole Ann White, son, Stuart William Pierce, grandchildren, Ronald Michael Leahey, Kelly Alexandra White, and Kevin Montgomery White, family, relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Martha Helen Pierce, and her son, Ronald Thomas Pierce.
He loved God and his family.
A visitation will be held on Monday, June 11, 2018 from 4pm-7pm at Eternal Hills Mortuary in Oceanside, California.
Mr. Pierce's final resting place will be Eternal Hills Memorial Park in Oceanside, California.
