He was 95 years young and had an extraordinarily full life. He is survived by his wife, Maria, and two daughters, Paula S Manning and Sally S Curdy and three step sons, Fred, Joe & Robert Limon. His grandchildren are Robert Manning, Michelle Hughes, Joey, Jovanna, Alexis, Caruso, Catalina, Freddy, Sophia, Brandon and Dustin Limon; and great granddaughter, Delliah. He is predeceased by 3 siblings. He had an illustrious 30 year career in the Air Force, retiring in 1973 as Director of Communications for NORAD in Colorado Springs. For years his leisure activities included golf and tennis and he always had a good joke to tell. Post retirement he owned a clothing shop and then became a real estate agent. His most recent passion has been his association and membership in the San Marcos SDA church. Both he and his wife Maria were baptized there in 2008. He was dearly loved and will be missed by many.
Services will be held in the Chapel at Eternal Hills Mortuary on Friday, April 7th. Viewing will be at 9:00am followed by services at 10:00. In lieu of flowers he has requested that donations be made to a charity of choice.
