Funeral services for Alice Warren, age 71 of Lisbon Street in Heuvelton will be held on Thursday (Oct 25, 2012) at 6:00pm at the Fox & Murray Funeral Home with Pastor David A. Sheppard officiating.

Calling hours will be held also on Thursday from 3:00pm until the time of the service at the funeral home. Mrs. Warren passed away on Friday (Oct 19, 2012) at Upstate Medical Center surrounded by her family.

Surviving are her children John P. Warren of Ogdensburg, Bruce W. Warren & his companion Dawn Mack of DePeyster, Brian G. Warren & his wife Tina of Heuvelton; two daughters Doreen A. Wright of Rensselaer Falls and Caroline Joanette & her husband Tom of Ogdensburg: a brother Arthur LeBlanc & his wife Ramona of Jonesboro, GA; two sisters Rita Colman of Heuvelton, Shirley Trzaskos of Albany, NY; step-sisters Barbara Barr & Marjorie Love & her husband Gene of Ogdensburg; grandchildren John P. Warren Jr., Krista L. Kelly & her husband Jason, Cory M. Warren & his companion Lindsay LeVac, Landis W. Warren, Dakota S. Warren, Karina C. Warren, Heather S. Wright, Warren M. Wright, Thomas S. Joanette Jr. & his wife Jen, Kira M. Hammond & her husband Mike and Jessie R. Joanette; two great- grandchildren Anastasia Kelly and Olivia Merrill and many nieces, nephews & cousins

Predeceasing her was a brother Rene' LeBlanc; a sister Annette Caskinette; step-mother Helen (Fredericks) LeBlanc; a step-bother Jack Fredericks; two step sisters Francis Durant and Joyce Powers and a nephew Roger Caskinette .

Alice was born on August 24, 1941 in Ogdensburg, NY a daughter of the late Philorum J. & Eva M. (LaFrance) LeBlanc. She graduated from St. Mary's Academy in 1958 and continued her education at the Roethel Business School. She then married J. Willis Warren on October 23, 1960 in Brier Hill. The couple was later separated but remained good friends.

For many years she co-operated the family farm in DePeyster until becoming employed at ComPas which later was renamed to Ansen where she worked for 20+ years as a hand soldier until her retirement. She was a past member of the Ogdensburg Moose Lodge, the Black Lake Pool League and the Women's Ogdensburg & Heuvelton Bowling League.

She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, gambling, computer games, traveling, puzzles, visiting with family and taking neighbors to their appointments. Following the funeral services, family & friends will gather at the Ogdensburg Moose Lodge 609 Pickering Street.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Heuvelton Volunteer Fire Department or the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Society.
