Arthur G. Terwilliger

Funeral services for Arthur G. Terwilliger, age 77 of Annette Street in Heuvelton, will be held on Wednesday (June 1, 2011) at 2:00pm at the Fox & Murray Funeral Home with Rev. Heidi McGinnis officiating. Burial will follow the service at Hillcrest Cemetery in Heuvelton.

Calling hours will also be held on Wednesday from 12:00noon until the time of the service at the funeral home. Arthur died Saturday (May 28, 2011) at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse.

Surviving is his twin brother Robert Terwilliger and his wife Emma; a niece Lora Martin & her husband Craig of Heuvelton; nephews John & Mark Terwilliger of Heuvelton; four great-nieces Amber Martin, Katie Terwilliger & Kari Terwilliger of Heuvelton and Kristi Leaman & her husband Tim of Afghanistan.

Arthur was born on July 5, 1933 in Penn Yan, NY a son of the late Basil & Ella (Greenway) Terwilliger. He graduated from Heuvelton Central and attended Canton ATC where he majored in mechanics. He was the co-owner and operator of the Riverside Veneer Company in Heuvelton where he has worked for many years.
