Brenda C. Pignone

Funeral services for Brenda Carmella Pignone, age 87 of Ogdensburg will be held at 3:00pm on Friday (February 6, 2015) at the Fox & Murray Funeral Home with Deacon Francis Bateman officiating. Burial will be in the spring at Glenwood Cemetery in Watertown.

Calling hours will be held also on Friday from 1:00pm until the time of the service at the funeral home. Ms. Pignone passed away on Tuesday (February 3, 2015) at Claxton Hepburn Medical Center.

Surviving is her long time caregiver and close friend, Joan Foote and her companion Stewart “Nig” Richards of Ogdensburg; a son John Pignone of Watertown; cousins Phyllis Schwendy, Priscilla Campbell, Carl Pignone and Rose Barker of Carthage along with several other cousins. Her brother Tony Pignone predeceased her.

Brenda was born on March 16, 1927 in Watertown NY, a daughter of the late Michael & Victoria Pignone. She attended school in Watertown for her education, and worked for a period at Sabaro Restaurant. Brenda was a St. Mary’s Cathedral parishioner, and she enjoyed her strong religious faith, her family, friends, family pets, bingo and music.
