

Calvin L. Kerr, age 74, of Ogdensburg, passed away on January 14, 2026, at the Massena Rehabilitation & Nursing Care Facility in Massena. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Ogdensburg Moose Lodge on February 7th @ 1:00pm
Calvin was born on August 7, 1951, in Ogdensburg, a son of the late Mark and Pearl (Griffith) Kerr. He graduated from Lisbon High School and continued his education, earning a degree in welding.
Throughout his career, Calvin was a hardworking and dedicated tradesman. He owned and operated K & K Construction in Ogdensburg from 1981 until 2007. He later relocated to Tennessee, where he continued working in the construction field. In 2015, he returned to the North Country and retired.
Calvin enjoyed fishing, listening to music, riding around town, and spending time with family and friends. One of the most meaningful periods of his life was caring for his beloved wife during her illness prior to her passing, a testament to his devotion and character.
Calvin is survived by his daughter, Jessica Kerr and her companion Daniel Saccoci of Ogdensburg; grandchildren Gaige Gagnon of Gouverneur, Katelin (Brian) McDonald of Ogdensburg, Brooke Wood and her companion Justin Burns of Massena, Hannah Gagnon and her companion Dylan Pasiuk of Ogdensburg, Daramyd Runions of Madrid, Ian Runions of Ohio, and Elizabeth Runions of Ohio; great-grandchildren Colton Burns and Weston and River Gagnon; a special niece, Katie King of Ogdensburg; brothers Donald Kerr and companion Sally Hughes of Ogdensburg, and David Kerr of Ogdensburg; sisters Donna Maloney and Karen Ashley, both of Ogdensburg; and his best friend, Timothy Baskerville of Tennessee.
He was predeceased by his wife, Gweyn Kerr, in 2008; brothers Raymond, Mark, Douglas, and Lester Kerr; and a grandson, Waylon Burns.
