Darlene C. Harper

Visitation will be held on Tuesday July 28, 2026 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., with the funeral service immediately following. Burial will take place at White Church Cemetery in Lisbon.

Darlene is survived by her loving children, Amber (Charles) Curtis of Norwood, Brandon (Elizabeth) Cruikshank of Lisbon, and Carly Harper and her fiancé, Andrew Hollis, of Ogdensburg. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Cody and Zoe Snyder, Ashton Phillips, and Diego Cruikshank, who brought her endless joy.

She is survived by her siblings, Shelly O'Neill of Cooperstown, Terri Simzer (Jordan Backus) of Lisbon, Erin Harper of Massachusetts, Tammy Delica-Fletcher of Florida, and Tom Main of Ogdensburg. She will also be deeply missed by her faithful dog, Sage, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends whose lives were enriched by her kindness and generous spirit.

Born in Ogdensburg, Darlene was the daughter of Donald and Dianna (Hillborne) Harper. She graduated from Lisbon High School and continued her education through BOCES. Throughout her career, she worked at Mitel, Jack & Jill Daycare, Fashion Bug, Community Bank, and BOCES. She also proudly owned and operated her own beauty salon, Country Styles, where she enjoyed helping others look and feel their best while forming lasting friendships with her clients.

Darlene will be remembered for her warm heart, compassionate nature, and the joy she found in making others smile. Music was one of the greatest passions of her life. Blessed with a beautiful singing voice, she performed with the band One Night Stand and loved entertaining others through karaoke. Whether she was on stage or simply singing among family and friends, Darlene's voice reflected her vibrant spirit and love of life.

She also enjoyed crocheting, spending time with her family, and had a special place in her heart for animals. Her happiest moments were those shared with the people she loved, creating memories that will be treasured forever.

Though her passing was sudden, the love, laughter, music, and kindness Darlene shared throughout her life will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
