David G. Perkins, age 87 of Ogdensburg passed away on September 15, 2019 at the United Helpers Nursing Home with his family by his side. Burial will be at Flackville Cemetery in Lisbon. As per his request there will be no public services.
Surviving is his sister Cathy David and her companion Victor Gagnon Jr. of Ogdensburg; nieces and nephews Jessie Gagnon of Ogdensburg, Josh Gagnon of Ogdensburg, Judy (Thomas) Newtown of Ogdensburg, Lester Duvall Jr. of Ogdensburg, Roger Duvall of Theresa, Debra Crayford of Heuvelton and Douglas Duvall of Ogdensburg.
He was predeceased by a sister Dorothy Duvall and a brother Howard Perkins.
David was born on February 20, 1932 in Lisbon NY, a son of the late Howard C. & Rose (Curry) Perkins. He graduated from Ogdensburg Free Academy and began his working career with Morley Construction until becoming employed at St. Lawrence University in the maintenance department, where he worked until his retirement.

Dear Cathy: It is always rough when a person close to you passes, but it is comforting to know that Uncle George is with his Mother, Father, Sister and Brother again. Rest well Uncle George, I know we have a small family but we all will keep your memory alive along with Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Howie and your sister, my Mom, Dorothy.
