Dave and family, I am sadden by the passing of your Dad . His gentle manor , wise insights along with his humor are how I will remember him. I often think of a time when I drove by on a summer day doing sales calls ,and he was sitting on the front bench by the road. I stopped and we sat there for a time and let the world go by together. And the instigator he was,, he could get people going and we would all share in the fun or joke . Dave would always engage you like an old friend. I am sure you and your family miss him dearly ..... his legacy that we will too . God Bless you all

As a member of the St. Lawrence Valley Draft Horse Club, Dave and I have crossed paths many times over the years with our draft horses. He purchased a beautiful team of Percheron Hitch Geldings from me in March of 2004. I showed them throughout the North Country and attended many Parades with them that summer. By doing so, that bonded a friendship with Dave & his whole family with me. He will truly be missed. May you Rest In Peace.

My heart broke when I heard the news. I will miss this man because he was a genuine spirit, sweet, kind, and happy and sparky just added to the good nature of that man. I’m sure each time I hear a kabota drive by, I’ll smile and think of you Dave. My thoughts are with david and Susan and the kids during this time.

To Dave's friends and relatives: I was saddened to read of Dave's passing today. As I thought of all of us who grew up on the Watson Road and started school at the old Grove School, rode our ponies playing cowboys and Indians, learned to drive first on tractors, then on the back roads (some were still dirt roads in those days), I realized there are not many of us left. The era of our youth was fleeting and the end came too soon for many of us. That means, Dave, there will be a welcoming group there for you. RIP, friend and neighbor.

You're all in our family's thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Dave was so easy to spend time with and his humor would catch us off guard many times. We're glad Sparky's getting a good home, he's earned it by being Dave's constant companion. Hold onto the good memories so hearing his name puts a smile on your face. God bless you!
