Dennis J. Parmeter

In keeping with Dennis' wishes, there will be no public services.

Dennis is survived by his longtime companion, Amber LaRock, and their beloved children, Dennis Parmeter Jr., 13, and Hailey Parmeter, 11, all of Ogdensburg. He is also survived by his brother, Lloyd Parmeter Jr. of Lisbon; three half-sisters, Sheilyn (Terry) Hall of Michigan, Heather (Shawn) Sovie of Ogdensburg, and Tammy Bond of Florida; an aunt Donna Parmeter of Morristown; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He was predeceased by his parents, Lloyd and Mary Sheilyn (O'Grady) Parmeter.

Born in Ogdensburg on May 25, 1977, Dennis was the son of Lloyd and Sheilyn (O'Grady) Parmeter. He attended Ogdensburg Free Academy for his education. A previous marriage ended in divorce, and he later found happiness and love with Amber LaRock, with whom he built a family.

Dennis worked for several years on local farms and as a small engine repair mechanic. He was known for his willingness to lend a helping hand and enjoyed working with engines. Above all else, Dennis cherished the time he spent with his children. He also found great enjoyment in fishing, snowmobiling, and spending time outdoors with family and friends.

Dennis will be remembered for his love of his family, his hardworking nature, and the many memories he created with those who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed.
