Dennis R. Perkins

Funeral services for Dennis R. Perkins, age 82, of Lisbon, NY, will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025, beginning with calling hours from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., followed by the funeral service at the Fox & Murray Funeral Home with Rev. Kevin O’Brien officiating. Burial will immediately follow at the White Church Cemetery in Lisbon. Mr. Perkins passed away early Wednesday morning at the Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center, surrounded by his family.

Surviving is his wife, Jane; three daughters, Leslie (Jeff) Arno of Nassau, NY; Laurie (Gregory) Kiah of Canton, NY; and Lindsay (Lou) Mastrine of Johnstown, PA; his grandchildren; Katie (Brian) Sitcer, Meeghan (Dominique) Arno, Bryce (Lexi) Arno, Kylee Arno, Jake Kiah, Allison Kiah, Reagan Kiah, Samuel Mastrine, Penelope Mastrine, Mitchell Mastrine; one great-grandchild; Della Kiah; a brother, Kenneth (Julie) Perkins of Redondo Beach, CA; stepbrothers Timothy (Bridgett) Flack of Lisbon and Douglas (Jane) Flack of Lisbon; and stepsisters Clara Carswell of Lisbon and Ann (Robert) Lauzon of Bombay, NY.

He was predeceased by a sister, Marlene Ward, stepbrothers, Joseph Flack, Robert Flack, son-in-law Scott Cuttler, and grandson Cole Arno.

Dennis was born on January 19, 1943, in Ogdensburg, NY, a son of the late Robert and Helen (Speer) Perkins. He graduated from Lisbon High School and continued his education in machinist training at BOCES. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force as an Aircraft Pneudraulic Repair Technician, and was later married to Jane Ann Warren on September 17, 1966.

Dennis worked as a machinist for over 30 years at Alcoa and retired as the foreman of the machine shop in 1998. He was a proud member of the Lisbon American Legion and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends he considered family.
