

.A Funeral Mass for Dorothy “Dottie” C. Fuller, age 88 of Ogdensburg will be held at 10:00am on Friday (Sept 25, 2015) at St. Mary’s Cathedral with Rev. Joseph Morgan officiating. Interment will follow at Foxwood Memorial Park.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 6-8pm at the Fox & Murray Funeral Home. Mrs. Fuller passed away on Tuesday (Sept 22, 2015) at the Riverledge Heathcare Facility.
Surviving is her son David (Missy) Fuller of Ogdensburg, two daughters Carol (Michael) Patton of Butler, OH and Nancy Fuller (Jody) of Anchorage Alaska; a brother Joseph “Bud” Carrier Vestal NY; five grandchildren Carrie (Robert) Power of Lancaster NY, Katlin Fuller & Jay Fuller both of Ogdensburg, Matthew (Jennifer) Patton of Columbus OH, Alicia (Aaron) Krabbe of AZ; great-grandchildren Owen & Lyla Power, Zooey & Violet Krabbe, Drew Patton along with nieces, nephews & cousins.
Dorothy was born on March 13, 1927 in Ogdensburg NY, a daughter of the late Edmund & Armande (Des Jardines) Carrier. She graduated from St. Mary’s Academy and later married Richard on Sept 1, 1948 at St. Mary’s Cathedral with Rev. John Weir officiating. Richard predeceased her on August 18, 2006.
During her career she was employed at Bell Telephone as a telephone operator, and later became a homemaker while raising her family. In 1965 she became employed at the St. Lawrence Psychiatric Center holding various positions and finally retiring in the purchasing department. She worked at the Psychiatric Center for 20 years. She retired in 1985.
Dorothy was a member of St. Mary’s Cathedral Parish where she was active with the altar & rosary society, bereavement committee, board of directors, a Eucharistic Minister and Lector. She enjoyed cross country skiing, skating, walking, volunteering with meals on wheels, volunteering for Hospice, her pet dog and spending time with her grandchildren.
