Visitation will be held on Saturday from 12:00pm to 3:00pm at The Fox & Murray Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service, with Pastor Floyd McCallum officiating.
Gary is survived by his beloved wife, Brenda; two daughters, Jamie Stone of Ogdensburg and Laccie TenEyck, and her companion, Andrew Fonda, of Lisbon; a sister, Marilyn (Daniel) Barr of Ogdensburg; three cherished grandchildren, Maicey, Karter & Kohl; nieces Brittnie Bertrand of Lisbon, and Felicia Barr of Ogdensburg; along with many cousins.
Gary was born on May 22, 1963, in Ogdensburg, a son of the late Gerald and Mildred (Pinkerton) TenEyck. He graduated from Ogdensburg Free Academy and married Brenda Cummings on August 4, 1984, beginning a life of love and devotion that would span over 40 years.
Throughout his career, Gary worked with dedication and pride. He spent 18 years at Lupia Electric, 27 years at Sholette’s Steak House, and most recently, worked as a forklift operator at Acco Brands since 2000. Gary also was a long-time caretaker for Mrs. Raymo.
He had a passion for the outdoors and enjoyed snowmobiling, 4-wheeling, riding motorcycles, watching NASCAR and Syracuse Basketball. He also took great pride in his yard work, and finding great “deals” at garage sales. Above all, he treasured the time spent with his family. His warm heart, infectious laugh, and unshakeable loyalty will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to the Lisbon Volunteer Fire Department in Gary's memory. Condolences and fond memories can also be shared online at www.foxandmurrayfuneralhome.com.
