Calling hours will be held on Monday (Feb 19, 2018) from 12:00-2:00pm & 4:00-6:00pm at the Fox & Murray Funeral Home. Mr. Fuller passed away on Thursday Feb 15th surrounded by his loving family.
Surviving are two sons Theodore “Teddy” (Sandra) Fuller of Lisbon and Parris “Perry” (Rebecca) Fuller of Lisbon; a daughter Jodi (Jeffery) DeFrance of Heuvelton; grandchildren Scott Beldock, Jessie Fuller, Brandon Fuller, Michael Beldock & Timothy Beldock; great-grandchildren Rachel & Riley Beldock, Reese & Oakley Fuller and Andrew , Evelyn, Nicholas, Dylan & Hannah Beldock along with many nieces, nephews & cousins.
His wife Janet Fuller and siblings Phyllis Fuller, Jean Poland and Richard & Robert Fuller predeceased him.
Gordon was born on May 3, 1930 in Canton NY, a son of the late Frederick & Gladys (Oshier) Fuller. He graduated from the George Hall Trade School in Ogdensburg and entered the United States Marine Corp serving from April 1951 until May 1954. He then married Janet Marie Dishaw on June 6, 1954 at St. Raphael’s Rectory in Heuvelton.
During his career he was employed at the Ogdensburg Police Department as a patrolmen for six years until he went to work at Alcoa in Massena as a security guard. He retired in 1973 due to declining health.
Gordon was a member of the Ogdensburg Amvets, the Ogdensburg Presbyterian Church and the St. Lawrence County Marine Corp League where he held the title of commandant. He was an avid Boston Celtic & NY Giant Fan and enjoyed traveling, and being around his family.
