Funeral services for Grace E. Conger, age 94 of Hammond will be held at the convenience of the family. Mrs. Conger passed away on Sunday (Mar 30, 2014) at the Riverledge Healthcare Facility. There will be no public calling hours.
Grace was born on August 18, 1919 in Hammond NY a daughter of the late Walter & Margaret (Dake) Plantz. She attended Hammond Rural School for her education, and married Al Arcuri. He predeceased her, and she again was married to Hermon C. Conger on Dec 18, 1976. The couple operated a dairy farm for many years, but he also predeceased her.
She is survived by two sisters Mrs. Viola (William) Heck of Hammond and Mary Savage of Carthage and a brother William Plantz of Hammond. Siblings Warren, Walter, Lewis & David Plantz and a sister Lottie Decesare also predeceased her.
