Isabelle B. Wall
February 24, 1926 – March 27, 2019
Isabelle B. ”Tubby” Wall, age 93 of Ogdensburg passed away on Wednesday evening (March 27, 2019) at Claxton Hepburn Medical with her family by her side. Services will be private for her family at Foxwood Memorial Park.
Surviving is her husband Paul Wall of Ogdensburg; children Gregory (Phyllis) Wall of Ogdensburg, Douglas (Michelle) Wall of Phoenix, AZ, David (Shona) Wall of Ogdensburg, Victoria (Donald) Barry of Watertown and Paula (David) Forsythe of Lisbon; eight grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews & cousins.
Two sisters Audrey Richards and Marie Hulburt and two brothers George & Chester Lundy predeceased her.
Isabelle was born on February 24, 1926 in Ogdensburg NY, a daughter of the late Joseph & Marion (Papineau) Lundy. She attended Holy Cross School and graduated from Ogdensburg Free Academy. She later married Paul E. Wall on July 4, 1946 at St. Mary’s Church in Rochester.
She was a stay at home mother while raising her children and she later became active with her part-time work at the Ogdensburg Journal and Penny Saver. She also volunteered at St. Vincent DePaul for many years.
She enjoyed flower gardening, playing bingo, bowling, swimming, her camp on the St. Lawrence River and being with her family. Dear Mr. Wall and family,
My sincere condolences to you all. I just heard about Mrs. Wall today and my heart broke for you all. Such a sweet lady and lovely person. My childhood memories are forever colored by the wonderful Moms of our neighborhood. Thinking of you all fondly.

I have fond memories of Isabelle when we were together in our Home Bureau Group. Audrey was also a member. I believe that Isabelle and I were the last two surviving members. It was a fun time in our lives!

Mrs. Wall was like a second mother to me growing up! She always had room at her table and room in her heart for me! Paula n I had so many fun times on Washington St and on the St Lawrence River! Mrs. Wall was so kind and will be missed by many. I am so blessed to have known and loved her.
