I can’t even express all the wonderful memories Uncle Jack gave me and all the family. Hunting, waterskiing, helping my family so unselfishly.  His great love was my Aunt Irma and his Children.  I can still remember the poker games etc, so many good memories he was one of a kind. Love to the whole family—- Terry 

I grew up in the same area. Jack was a helpful we we had issues. He raised a great family who were good friends. I remember time spent at their house and camp. I am glad I  knew him.  

Bob has many memories as a kid hunting with Uncle Jack and we always loved it when he came to camp and brought his accordion- singing together and having a beer- I have him on tape playing at mom and dad’s 50 th  anniversary-Pat loved singing all the old songs

Irma and family,
Our fondest memories of Jackie and Irma took place at their beautiful camp on the river.  Whether traveling from California or New Jersey with kids in tow, we were always welcomed back into the fold by such an incredible expanse of loving family members, from the very young to the forever young at heart, we relished  every minute.   What an absolutely spectacular life Jackie had and his legacy of love, service to community and dedication to his family will live on in us forever.   We are hopeful that he is at peace and singing alongside his loving brothers and sisters in Heaven.

We were so sad to hear of Jack's passing. We spent many years together singing in the Barbershoppers and attending many of Jack's functions. He was always a gracious host along with Irma.

Please accept our deep condolences on Jack's passing.  We first met him in the summer of 2004 when we were looking to relocate to the North County from the Albany area.  He spent the better part of a day driving us around to see properties in the area.  When it was time for us to leave our car broke down and he went out of his way to find someone to come fix us up.  We ended up taking far more of his time that day than any of us planned, but he remained kind and cheerful and hosted us at his office until we could make our way home again.  We've never forgotten his kindness that day and are very sorry for your loss.


I haven't seen Uncle Jack or Aunt Irma in many many years, but I have fond memories of him playing the according at all the pig roasts at camp.  I always looked forward to that as a kid.  Thanks for the memories.  My thoughts and prayers are with the whole family.

We are very sorry to hear of Uncle Jack's passing.  I will always remember going to your camp, sitting around singing while Uncle Jack played the accordion.  Also, all the great times at my parents' house after the parade.  Uncle Jack always knew how to make everyone smile and will be missed by all. I feel grateful that I have many loving and positive memories of my grandpa Jack Bruyere.  I've been remembering recently fun memories of spending time with him and grandma Bruyere at their camp, and thinking of his love for the St. Lawrence river and boating.  This time of year I think of his love of music and I have been reminiscing about my family singing Christmas carols around him as he played the piano.  He was an accomplished singer and musician as part of a barbershop group, as someone who played the accordion and someone who played the piano.  There are so... many memories I could continue to describe, but the point is, that although he is physically gone he lives on in memories.  Rest in peace grandpa.  Love you!


My deepest condolences go to Irma and the whole Bruyere family.  I have so many wonderful memories from my youth of being with the family because of my great friendship with Nancy.  Jack allowed me to drive his car when I first got my license and Nancy and I had a great time, without putting any dents into it!  I will always remember the time spent at the Bruyere home and how kind Jack and Irma were to me.  Prayers for all.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Uncle Jack.  Many of my happiest memories are from times spent at your house and camp. The Bruyere camp was a special place to so many of us and Jack was a central part of those memories. The fun we had in the boat, on the raft and with the skidoo....All the times that music filled your home. What a special uncle, aunt and family. Marianne and I were saddened to hear the news, you are all in our hearts at this time. 

!y sincere condolences to the family.  Jack was a great landlord.   When he would contact  me  with a complaint over my kids when we lived at Belmont, we usually ended the conversation, both laughing .  When  he would come for inspection, he never left without praising me up for my nice and well kept apt. God speed.

So saddened since hearing of Jacks passing yesterday. I have so many great childhood memories with your family, am so lucky to have been included in trips to camp, sliding at the golf course, and him towing a toboggan full of kids down snow covered back roads. He was a big kid himself, had the best smile, playing his accordion at the drop of a hat. He was the last person who still called me “Crockett”. Irma and Jack were the role models for their children on how to balance life, to work and play hard, and to love your family unconditionally and passionately. Sharon and I are praying for you all through this sad and difficult time. God bless you all.

I am so sorry to hear of Uncle Jack's passing. What a wonderful man always with a smile on his face.  Also loved seeing him and many of you during our get togethers during the Seaway Festival.  I am sure he was greeted by everyone from the family who passed before him.  To all my cousins and Aunt Irma I am so so sorry.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
