Jenson P. Measheaw

Funeral services for Jenson P. Measheaw age 30 of the Pray Road in Lisbon, will be held on Saturday (April 23, 2011) at 11:00am at the Fox & Murray Funeral Home with Deacon Francis Bateman officiating. Burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery in the spring.

Calling hours will be held on Friday from 4:00-8:00pm at the funeral home. Jenson died Wednesday (April 20, 2011) at Claxton Hepburn Medical Center surrounded by his family after being stricken at home on Tuesday.

Surviving are his parents Jeffrey Measheaw & Renee’ (Fisher) Measheaw of Ogdensburg; companion Erin Geary & their daughter Hailey Breann Measheaw of Ogdensburg; sisters Heather Leeson & her husband Robert of Morristown, Terry Lynn Hamilton & her husband Lucas of Ogdensburg, Christina Miller of Ogdensburg; a brother Cory Legault of Ogdensburg; paternal grandmother Linda Measheaw of Ogdensburg who raised Jenson along with his parents; maternal grandparents Beth & Jerry Fisher of Ogdensburg; Uncles Gary Measheaw, Bernie Jr & Jeanne Measheaw, Jay Measheaw, Christopher & Amy Measheaw, Adam & Nancy Measheaw, Ed & Jenny Fisher and Vinnie Fisher all of Ogdensburg; Aunts Lynn Measheaw of Gouverneur, Helen & Robert Middlemiss & Mary & Dave Blevins of Ogdensburg Jerry Lee & Robert Johnson of Ogdensburg and Angie Whitefield of Cadyville, NY. A paternal grandfather Bernie Measheaw; uncles William Willard and Gary Measheaw and a cousin Landen Measheaw predeceased him.

Jenson was born on October 31, 1980 in Ogdensburg, NY the son of Jeffrey & Renee’ (Fisher) Measheaw. He attended Ogdensburg Free Academy for his education and married Amy Petrie which later ended in separation. He was a longtime tattoo artist and enjoyed carpentry work, snowmobiling, 4-wheeling, drawing & painting, ice fishing and spending time with his daughter Hailey.
