Jodi E. DeFrance

October 20, 1962September 3, 2019

Funeral service for Jodi E. DeFrance, age 56 of Old State Rd Heuvelton will be held at 9:00am on Saturday (Sept 7, 2019) at Foxwood Memorial Park Chapel with Deacon Mark LaLonde officiating. Jodi passed away on Tuesday (Sept 3, 2019) with her loving husband by her side.

Surviving is her husband Jeffrey; two brothers Theodore (Sandra) Fuller of Waddington and Paris (Becky) Fuller of Lisbon; mother & father-in-law James & Mary DeFrance of DePere, WI; brother-in-law Jon (Bobbi) DeFrance of DePere, WI; sister-in-laws Julie DeFrance of San Diego, CA, Jaclyn (Chad) Fradette of Pulaski, WI, Jean (Jim) Zillmer of Kaukauna, WI and Jill (Mark) Seaman of Merrill, WI.

She was predeceased by her parents Gordon & Janet Fuller.

Jodi was born on October 20, 1962 in Ogdensburg NY, the daughter of Gordon & Janet (Dishaw) Fuller. She graduated from Lisbon High School and continued her education at SUNY Canton majoring in Dairy and food science. On September 23, 1989 she married Jeffrey DeFrance at St. Mary’s Cathedral in Ogdensburg.

During her career she worked in the lab at Stella Cheese in Ogdensburg and later at Losurdo Cheese in Heuvelton until failing health. She enjoyed gardening, her cats, reading, traveling and baking. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of St. Lawrence Valley, US Hwy 11, Potsdam, NY 13676.
