

Judy A. Foster, age 67, of Ogdensburg, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 25, 2025, at Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family. In accordance with her wishes, there will be no public services. Arrangements are entrusted to the Fox & Murray Funeral Home.
Judy is survived by her five devoted sisters: Paula (Seyed) Pedram of Tuscaloosa, AL; Catherine (Bruce) Walker of Ogdensburg; Mary Brasher of Brockville, Ontario; Della (Carl) Edenfield of Augusta, GA; and Jamie Adams of Ogdensburg, who cared for her for many years. She also leaves behind a large and loving extended family of nieces and nephews: Paul, Phillip & Parisa Pedram; Jeffrey McDonald; Jessica Williams; Jason & Ian Miller; Adam Randall; Joshua Payzant; Dalton Edenfield; Zachary, Katie & Karissa King; Casey, Natalee, Lynzee & Lyvee Spiak; Chad & Aryanna Williams; Ethan & Phyla Miller; Jakob, Lukas & Zoey Will; and Andrew Pedram and Sophia & Grayson Channel: Avery, Isabella & Ayden McDonald & Jackson & Sophia KIng.
She was predeceased by her parents, John and Rita (Compeau) Foster, and her brother, Joseph Foster, who passed in 2009.
Born on June 23, 1958, in Worcester, Massachusetts, Judy was a daughter of John and Rita Foster. She was a proud graduate of Ogdensburg Free Academy, Class of 1980, where she excelled in athletics, holding multiple records in both track and swimming.
Throughout her career, Judy was employed with Seaway Industries, ARC, Clean Sweep, and Granview, where she was known for her hard work and kind heart.
Judy had a vibrant personality and enjoyed life’s simple pleasures—playing bingo, listening to Alan Jackson, sipping Mountain Dew, and, most of all, spending time with her family.
The Foster family would like to express heartfelt gratitude to the Richard E. Winter Cancer Center and the ICU staff at Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center for the exceptional care they provided during Judy’s illness.
