Kevin P. Nicholas

A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 17, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Philip & James Catholic Church in Lisbon with Rev. Kevin O’Brien officiating. Visitation will be held privately for his family prior to the Mass. Burial will follow in Flackville Cemetery, Lisbon.

Surviving are his brother Paul (Tammy) Nicholas of Victory, NY; his sister Catherine (Joseph) Starkey of Syracuse; and a special nephew Jerry (Rebecca) Warren of Bernhard’s Bay, NY; along with several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents, Gabriel and Grita Nicholas; his beloved wife, Sandra; and his twin brother, Steven Nicholas.

Kevin was born on September 6, 1953, in Syracuse, NY, a son of Gabriel J. and Grita Arlene (Brown) Nicholas. He graduated from Nottingham High School in Syracuse and continued his education at SUNY Canton. On June 19, 1976, he married Sandra L. Bale at Most Holy Rosary Church in Syracuse.

Kevin resided in Liverpool since his marriage to Sandy. He worked at General Electric’s Electronics Park for 13 years, Niagara Mohawk Nuclear from 1990 to 1994, and later with the Liverpool Central School District in the maintenance department until his retirement.

He enjoyed spending time with family, working on home projects, and relaxing watching the NY Giants or Yankees. Kevin will be remembered for his kindness, sense of humor, and willingness to help others.
