

Lenny is survived by his two sons, Jason Tallman of South Colton and James Tallman of Ogdensburg; grandchildren Megan, Logan, Brooke, and Kylie Tallman; great-grandchildren Gage, Alivia, Brody, and Lacey; his former daughter-in-law, Denise Tallman of Ogdensburg as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Sandra Tallman, in 2016, and his two sisters, MaryEllen and Joan.
Born on July 29, 1944, in Chateauguay, NY, Lenny was the son of the late Richard and Debra (Peets) Tallman. He proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1965 to 1967. On December 3, 1966, he married Sandra LaPoint at St. Bernard’s Church in Lyon Mountain, NY.
Over the years, Lenny was a successful business owner, operating the Red Pine Pub in South Colton and Ye Old Halfway House Restaurant in Chateauguay before relocating to the Ogdensburg area. In 1980, he began his career as a New York State Correctional Officer, retiring in 2003.
Lenny will be remembered for his love of family, his entrepreneurial spirit, and his enjoyment of casino visits.
