Lodine F. McNeil

Lodine F. McNeil age 93, formerly of Lisbon passed away on Sept 6, 2016 at the Riverledge Healthcare Facility with her daughter by her side. A memorial service is planned for a later date to be announced. Burial will be at Brookside Cemetery in Waddington.

Surviving are daughters Gail Malcho & her husband John of Fairport NY and summer residence of Cape Vincent; Charlotte Coller of Titusville FL and Lorna Michie of Charleston SC; seven grandchildren Troy Bulger & his fiancée Nancy Haieasz, Shelly (Derek) Welsh, Matthew (Meredith) Bulger, Amy Moore, Rayna (Mike) LePore, Marcie (Ish) Muldinado and Courtney (Denise) Finnerty; two great-grandchildren Tyler Bulger & Max Koproski along with nieces, nephews & cousins.

Lodine was predeceased by her husband Richard and a sister Edna Todd.

She was born on February 14, 1923 in Waddington NY, a daughter of the late Frank & Bessie (Baker) Short. She attended Waddington High School and later married Richard McNeil. During her career she worked at Lisbon Central in the cafeteria, and later as a bus driver. In future years she became employed at H & R Block doing clerical work until she retired in 1987. In 1988, she and her husband Richard began managing the Sejourn Cottages in Chippewa Bay until 1997.

Lodine was a member of the St. Philips and James Catholic Church in Lisbon, and she enjoyed gardening, making cookies, knitting, camping and traveling.
