Lorna L. Bell

Funeral services for Lorna L. Bell, age 77 a resident of the Lisbon ICF will be held on Saturday (Feb 5, 2011) at 1:00pm at the Fox & Murray Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Schirmer officiating. Burial will be in the spring at Rensselaer Falls Cemetery.

Calling hours will also be held on Saturday from 11:00am until the time of the service at the funeral home. Lorna died Wednesday morning (Feb 2, 2011) at Claxton Hepburn Medical Center. Arrangements are with the Fox & Murray Funeral Home.

Surviving are two sisters Barbara Tapper & her husband Vernon of Dublin, CA, Mary Denny & her husband Ronald of Heuvelton; two brothers Lawrence Bell & his wife Kathy of Green Bay, WI, Allan Bell & his wife Nancy of Heuvelton; sister-in-law Cindy Bell of Morley; nieces & nephews Kellie Bush & her husband Rod, Kristopher Bell, Susan Tapper, Jeff Tapper, Andy Denny & his wife Stephanie, Lori Kreilach & her husband Nicholas, Carrie Bell, Lora Bell, Marianne Bell; great nieces & nephew Kaitlyn Bush, Emily Bush, Rodney Bush and Olivia Denny; cousins Ruth Thorbahn & her husband Douglas, William McAdoo & his wife Kathy and Tom McAdoo & his wife Shirley.

Two brothers David & Donald Bell predeceased her.

Lorna was born on November 30, 1933 in Canton, NY a daughter of the late Maurice & Veda (McAdoo) Bell. She attended Heuvelton Central for her education and enjoyed attending the Heuvelton Presbyterian Church, playing bingo, wii bowling and family outings.

Memorial contributions have been requested to the Heuvelton Presbyterian Church, SPCA or the Lisbon ICF Memorial Fund.
