Marilyn Stout Faucher

Marilyn Stout Faucher, age 81 of Brier Hill and Liverpool NY passed away Saturday (Feb 11, 2017) at the Francis House in Syracuse surrounded by her loving family. A memorial service is planned for a later date. Arrangements are with the Fox & Murray Funeral Home.

Surviving are her children Mary Jo (Peter) Hunt of Buffalo, Michele (Donald) Gately of The Villages FL, Michael (Marie) Faucher of Brier Hill, Nancy Edkins of Hunlock Creek PA, Gregory (Nina) Faucher of Loudonville NY and Steven Faucher of Charlotte NC; a brother David (Nelly) Stout of Brier Hill; 16 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; many nieces & nephews and great-nieces & nephews.

Marilyn was born on August 28, 1935 in Ogdensburg NY, a daughter of the late Wylie “Mike” & Ceciall (Daniels) Stout. She attended Morristown Central School and CCBI Business School in Syracuse NY. She later married Joseph “Babe” R. Faucher on January 8, 1955. He predeceased her in 2000.

She worked at Ormond Shops in Syracuse, Bresee Chevrolet Company in Liverpool and the Agway Corporation in Dewitt NY until her retirement in 1995.

Marilyn enjoyed being a grandma, baking cookies, sewing, knitting, crocheting, playing cards and collecting loons. She also enjoyed her retirement years living summers on the St. Lawrence River and winters in North Myrtle Beach SC.
