My thoughts and prayers are with you, during this difficult time. I will always treasure my memories of my Godmother, Ida . She came into my life when I was born and the times we shared , her family and mine, and again recently, we talked and reflected on the many changes of our lives. I will always cherish the memories and fondly remember her.

A great friend to people and animals left us as Mary joined her Duchess and her family members who have passed. When Mary moved to our neighborhood it was a familiar sight to see her with Duchess on their daily walks. Those who did not know her name called her "the lady with the big white dog" (her kind, gentle giant companion). When the St. Lawrence Valley SPCA began hosting the City of Ogdensburg's Rabies Clinics twice a year, Mary was soon on the team volunteering her time during the clinic so people of the region could have their pets vaccinated against this deadly disease.
On behalf of the Board of Directors, Staff, and Volunteers of the St. Lawrence Valley SPCA, we send our condolences on your loss and thank you for sharing Mary with us!
