

A Funeral Mass for Orville “Bud” C. Miller, age 72 of Ogdensburg will be held at 10:00am on Wednesday (May 27, 2015) at St. Mary’s Cathedral with Rev. Scott Belina officiating. Burial will follow the service at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Ogdensburg.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday (May 26, 2015) from 2-4pm & 6-8pm at the Fox & Murray Funeral Home. Mr. Miller passed away at Claxton Hepburn Medical Center on Wednesday (May 20th) surrounded by his loving family.
Surviving are his children Eric Miller & his wife Melinda of Ogdensburg, Todd Miller & his wife Mariama of Philadelphia, PA and Lisa Worden of Ogdensburg; two sisters Judy Bishop & her husband Gil of Ogdensburg, Patty Benishek of Orlando, FL; two brothers Glen Miller & his wife Vicky and John Miller both of Ogdensburg; six grandchildren Jordan & Madison Miller, Zachary & Luci Worden, Chase Miller and Amir Miller-Alston, along with several nieces, nephews & cousins. His parents Orville & Claire Miller and a sister Linda Wilson predeceased him.
Bud was born on November 26, 1942 in Ogdensburg, NY a son of the late Orville & Claire (Parker) Miller. He attended St. Mary’s Academy and graduated from Ogdensburg Free Academy. He later continued his education in New York City where he obtained an associated degree. Marriages to Caroline Lockwood & Donna Manke later ended in divorce.
Bud was employed at the St. Lawrence Psychiatric Center as a Recreation & Therapy Aide until his retirement in 1994. He was a member of the Knight of Columbus, St. Mary’s Cathedral Parish, and the Ogdensburg men’s bowling league. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed hunting & fishing.
