Patricia "Patti" Reifensnyder was in the loving embrace of her children and their families at St. Joseph's Nursing Home when she peacefully left this world to be with her beloved husband, Roger Sr., on January 17th, 2026.
Born to Patrick and Estelle Migliorino-Miller in 1935 and raised in North Royalton, OH, Patti married her high school sweetheart, Roger, in 1953, and they moved to New Philadelphia, OH, to start a family of their own. After several moves and while raising their four children, they eventually landed in Northern NY, where Roger worked as a private electrical contractor until 1973. They then took over the operations of Patti's parents’ store “Patrick’s” in Chippewa Bay, which they ran for several years.
Ever the entrepreneurs, Patti and Roger eventually bought and operated Conifer Cliffs cottages in Chippewa Bay and thereafter the Village Market in Hammond. After Roger’s tragic passing in an accident in 1992, at their cottage in the Bahamas, Patti sold the Market and moved to Atlantic Beach, FL, where she served as Vice President of Venus Manufacturing until 2012.
Upon retirement, she set out to see the world with trips to, among other places, China, Australia, Russia, Egypt, Hawaii, Bali, and all of Europe. In the end, she slowed down as the wheels of time slow everyone and she chose to spend her final years back in the North Country, close to three of her four children - Autumn Reifensnyder of Avalon, CA, Roger Reifensnyder II (Letitia) of Chippewa Bay / St. Augustine, Jeff Reifensnyder (Diane) of Bombay and Gretchen Young (Michael) of Henderson. Patti is additionally survived by her grandchildren Ian, Heidi, and Aleea, her two dear sisters Kareen LaBuzzetta, Maryland, and Arlene LeClair (Dick Harpest), Georgia, and her many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff at St Josephs NH for the care and compassion they provided to Patti.
Finally, for those wishing to say goodbye to her, please know it was her wish that people not gather to mourn her passing and instead of a funeral service the family will be organizing a celebration of her life in the Spring.
