

Funeral Services for Paul L. Hanna, age 75 of Rensselaer Falls, will be held on Thursday (March 26, 2015) at 2:00 pm at Fox & Murray Funeral Home with Deacon Frank Bateman officiating. Burial will be held in the spring at the Kendrew Cemetery.
Calling hours will be held also on Thursday from 11:00 am until the time of the service. Mr. Hanna passed away on Sunday (March 22, 2015) at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Surviving is his wife Kathleen “Katy”; a brother John & Vera Hanna of Canton; a sister Ione Hanna of Heuvelton; nieces and nephews Clede and Shelley Spooner, Debbie and Larry Mitchell, Penny and Tracy Swan, David Hanna, Robin and Andy Hanna-Johnson, Jimmy and Lisa Hanna, Jamie and Charles Slater, Robert Hanna, Daniel and Shannon Hanna, Elisha and Andy Hurlbut, and Kaleb Hanna, along with many great nieces and nephews.
Paul was predeceased by a brother Lloyd “David” Hanna in 1993; and a sister Patricia Bronchetti in 2010.
He was born on March 12, 1940 in Rensselaer Falls NY, a son of the late Lloyd and Mary (Golden) Hanna. He attended Kendrew School for his education, and later married Kathleen M. Carman on August 20, 1966 at St. Raphael Church in Heuvelton by Monsignor Giroulx.
Paul first went to work for Terwilligers Veneer Plant in Heuvelton, followed by Kraft’s Food in Canton and retired from Newell’s Manufacturing in 2002 after 34 years of service. He later became a volunteer driver for the Department of Social Services and the Office of the Aging until 2009.
He was a past member of the Ogdensburg Moose Lodge and enjoyed auctions, working outdoors, hunting, four-wheeling and most of all, his yellow lab Mitzie.
