Sandra J. Conger

Sandra passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 29, 2025, at Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family.

She is survived by her devoted husband, James Conger of Heuvelton; her siblings Sheila (Daniel) Hunsicker of Texas, William (Evelyn) Hockey of Canandaigua, Sally Conger of Williamson, NY and Kevin (Leslie) Hockey of Brier Hill. Sandra also leaves behind many cherished nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was predeceased by her parents, John E. and Edna (Kellar) Hockey, two brothers, John Jr. and Harlow Hockey and a brother-in-law Michael Conger.

Born on March 23, 1950, in Watertown, NY, Sandra graduated from Morristown High School and earned an associate’s degree in business from Jefferson Community College. On May 6, 1989, she married James E. Conger in Round Rock, Texas.

Throughout her life, Sandy worked for an electronics firm in Austin, TX, Johnsten's Photos in Rochester, and later as a pharmacy technician at Topp’s in Ontario, NY, until her retirement.

Sandy found joy in social networking, especially on Facebook, crocheting, collecting dolls, and spending time with her beloved nieces and nephews.
