Sheran A. LaFave

Surviving are her children Sherri (Daniel) Scott, Becky Gladle (Ken Fisher) and Roland (Lee) LaFave Jr. all of Ogdensburg; grandchildren Jackie LaFave, Miranda Halladay, Dalton & Dawson LaFlair, Jennie MacDonald, Emily & Carl Martell III, Travis, Ryan & Jordan Gladle; great grandchildren Keegan Halladay, Karter Irwin, Lucas, Aubrey, Aliza & Cameron MacDonald, Bailey Martel and James Gladle; an Aunt Pat Maria of Ogdensburg; along with many nieces, nephews & cousins.

She was predeceased by her husband Roland LaFave Sr. in 2021; a brother Harry (Sandy) Luccheti; a sister Marlene (Gary) Chapple and a grandson Oliver Gladle.

Sheran was born on January 29, 1944 in Ogdensburg, a daughter of the late Louis & Helene (Spooner) Luccheti. She graduated from St. Mary’s Academy and was later married to Roland L. LaFave Sr. on February 5, 1966 at Notre Dame Church.

During her career she worked at Acco Brands, Newell’s Manufacturing and co-owned and operated the family business Star Scrap Iron & Metal in Ogdensburg. She enjoyed playing bingo and cards, her dogs Mindy & Laycee and going to the casino.
