Susan A. Coloton passed away on Monday (November 17, 2025 at her home after a valiant fight with pancreatic cancer. Susan was born October 8, 1960 in Utica a daughter of Phyllis & Russell Coloton. She attended Hughes School and Utica Free Academy. She continued her education at ESC earning a master’s Degree in Culture and Policy.
She traveled and explored landscape’s of Europe, Bermuda, and now wishes to explore parts unknown.
Susan was married to Sharon Christina Allen. Together they shared the joys of their family to include Marissa (Austin) Curry III, and their children Austin IV, Carson and Addison; Corey Brooks.
Besides Marissa & Corey, she leaves behind a brother Russell (Pamela) Coloton Sr, and their children Ryan (Whitney) Coloton and their daughter Taylor.
One of the greatest Accomplishments was working more than a couple decades for Ameriprise Financial Services and the many clients she appreciated and served.
Susan’s wishes for everyone is “Live your life with pleasure, dignity and joy”.
