I had the great pleasure to have help take care of Thelma when I moved up from cedar nursing home I always enjoyed our talks about life and the grandkids that I went to school with at heuvelton back in the 80s. When I retired from uh in 2012 .I would come up and see all the residents and enjoy a nice visit .to the family I would like to say that I am sorry for your loss and she will be missed dearly by all who had a chance to know thelma. Hold your memories close to your heart . Dawna (teer)larue

My gram was the most beautiful woman I have seen, not only in looks but she had the most beautiful heart also. She always looked out for her family. When we needed her she was always there to give us comfort or advice. I always looked up to my gram and I'm going to miss her more than anyone knows, but I know she will always be with me. I love you gram and I hope you can rest easy now.

I had the great honour of taking care of Thelma for several years, during her stay at United Helpers. She always had a smile on her face, and a kind word. She was the first person I saw in the morning, and the last person I saw when I left.
I moved to PA in 2012, when ever I went back to UH I always made sure to spend time with Thelma. I was just there last week, sadly Thelma was already in the hospital, I left a message for her, I do hope she knew that I dropped by to see her.
Few people have the pleasure of having someone in their lives that truly made it a better place, well Thelma made my life a better place, and I will always remember the fun and laughter we shared.
Although she will be greatly missed, I know she will be welcomed by many who passed before her. Goodnight, sweet dreams my wonderful friend, thank you for blessing my life...

Love Jody
