Theodore B. Pratt

Funeral services for Theodore B. Pratt, age 78 of 1058 Washington Street Ogdensburg will be held on Saturday (Jan 2, 2016) at 3:00pm at the Fox & Murray Funeral Home with Deacon Francis Bateman officiating. Entombment will follow the service at Foxwood Memorial Park.

Calling hours will be held also on Saturday (Jan 2, 2016) from 1:00pm until the time of the funeral. Mr. Pratt passed away on Monday (Dec 28, 2015) at Claxton Hepburn Medical Center surrounded by his family.

Surviving is his son Theodore B. Pratt Jr. of Oswego; step-son Bruce LaRock of Florida; daughters Susan Forsythe & her fiancee’ Ellwood Fadden of Gouverneur, Rose (Robert) Wright of Oneida Castle NY, Dianna Pratt of Seneca Falls NY; step-daughters Brenda (Harold) Mereau of Ogdensburg and Terri Mitchell of St. Pete FL; sisters Georgianna “Ann” (Wayne) Gidney of Ogdensburg, Rose O’Brien of Massena, Dolores Kwasnink of Weedsport and Nancy (William) Dreivion of Medford OR; brothers Donald (Patricia) Pratt of Ogdensburg, Alfred Pratt of Weedsport, Robert (Carrie) Pratt of Massena, Harold Pratt of Ogdensburg; sister-in-law Julie Pratt of Long Island along with several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews & cousins.

Ted was predeceased by his wife Sheila; two sisters Diana Kearns and Marie Pratt and two brothers David & George Pratt Jr.

He was born on January 23, 1937 in Ogdensburg NY, a son of George G. & Eleanor A. (Denny) Pratt. He attended local schools for his education, and entered the US Air Force from 1954 – 1957. A previous marriage ended, and he later married Sheila Julien on January 17, 1987. During his career he worked at A. Barton Hepburn Hospital, a steel mill in Delmar and Chryslers New Process Gear in Syracuse where he retired from.

He enjoyed playing checkers, camping, watching TV and traveling.
