Thomas P. Graham, age 36, of Ogdensburg, NY, passed away Thursday, June 26, 2025, at Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse, NY. A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 18, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Fox & Murray Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Fox & Murray Funeral Home.
Tom was born on May 15, 1989, in Abington, PA, to Gerard “Gerry” and Patricia (Urban) Graham. He graduated from LaSalle College High School, Class of 2007, and later from Paul Smith’s College, Class of 2011, with a degree in Science and Fisheries. During his time in the Saranac Lake area, Tom met Faith Barney. They were married on September 29, 2018, at their home in Saranac Lake, in a ceremony officiated by Eddie Graham.
Mr. Graham worked as a Water Resource Technician with the federal government, focusing on waterways and fisheries on the St. Lawrence River. It was his dream job—getting paid to fish. He had previously worked building fire towers across the U.S. with David Vana (Davana LLC), a job he loved for the heights and steelwork. Tom was also a NYS Licensed Fishing Guide. He wasn’t fond of the patrons, but he loved the fishing. He enjoyed fishing in any body of water, for any kind of fish. We suspect ice fishing and ocean fishing were his favorites. He also enjoyed fowl hunting.
Tom loved learning new things—pruning trees, aquatics, cooking, growing mushrooms, welding, gardening—you name it, he would try it.
Most of all, he loved spending time with his family. His children were his life. He cherished hearing them laugh and always aimed to make them smile. He never (ever) said no to his wife—not because he didn’t want to, but because he loved her so much and would do anything to make her smile. He was an amazing husband and father.
Tom is survived by his wife of six years, Faith M. Graham of Ogdensburg; his daughters, Charlotte Grace Graham (5), Gwendolyn Edith Graham (21 months), and Penelope Patricia Graham (21 months); his mother, Patricia Graham of Eagleville, PA; his brothers, Michael Graham of Columbia, MD, and Edward Graham and his wife Rebecca of Langhorne, PA; his nieces, Addie, Etta, and Emmy; and several cousins.
He was predeceased by his father, Gerard “Gerry” Graham.
