I grew up around the corner from Val and we always played as kids. As we got older, her family had moved and I only seen her once in a while but she was always warm and friendly towards me and I always thought she was such a sweetheart... Im sad to see her life cut short.... but her obituary was lovely and really painted a picture of the wonderful woman she had become... my prayers are with her family as they deal with their loss...
