

Calling hours for Virginia K. Martin, age 89, of Williamsburg, Virginia and formerly of Ogdensburg, New York will be held from 1:30PM-3:00PM. Services will be held at Foxwood Memorial Park on April 20, 2015 at 3:00PM with Father James Shurtleff officiating. Arrangements are with the Fox and Murray Funeral Home.
Virginia Martin went to be with the Lord surrounded by her daughters on April 14, 2015 at Colonial Manor Assisted Living Center in Williamsburg, Virginia where she lived out her last years.
Virginia was born on September 9, 1925 in Ogdensburg, NY, daughter of the late Emmett R. and Florence (Pelo) Morley. She graduated from Ogdensburg Free Academy and later married Robert Martin, Sr. She worked at Diamond National in Ogdensburg for many years. Virginia dedicated her life to raising her family. She enjoyed bird watching, gardening, quilting, crafts, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends.
Virginia had five children. She is predeceased by her first-born son Robert Martin, Jr. Surviving are two sons Thomas Martin of Ogdensburg, NY and Michael Martin and his companion Mary Lynn Sharlow of Winchester, VA; two daughters Michele and her husband Mark Jones of Ogdensburg, NY, and Mellessa and her husband Dr. Becerra of Virginia Beach, VA; grandchildren Joshua, Shelby, Micha, and Sean Martin; Veronica, Adam, Nicholas, Andres and Gabrielle Becerra; great-grandchildren Carter, Cameron, Janice, Isaac, and Sebastian Martin along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Her husband Robert Martin, Sr., five brothers Emmett, William Jr., George, Cyril and Richard Morley along with two sisters, Lucretia McCarney and Dorothy Morley predeceased her.
