William H. Bergeron

Funeral services for William H. Bergeron age 82 of Ogdensburg will be held at 11:00am on August 10, 2018 at Notre Dame Church with Rev. Justin Thomas officiating. Entombment will follow at Foxwood Memorial Park.

Calling hours will be held also on Friday (Aug 10th) from 10:00am to 11:00am at Notre Dame Church. Mr. Bergeron passed away on August 5, 2018 at the St. Joseph’s Home.

Surviving is his brother James Bergeron of Monument, CO; dear friends Ed & Mary Monnat of Ogdensburg and Bob & Jean Goldie of Lisbon. A brother Gerald Bergeron predeceased him in 1987.

Bill was born on May 12, 1936 in Ogdensburg NY, a son of the late Harold & Elizabeth (Young) Bergeron. He graduated from Ogdensburg Free Academy in 1954 and later entered the US Army from 1959 – 1961.

During his career he was employed at the St. Lawrence Psychiatric Center working as a cook, and later as a motor vehicle operator until his retirement.

I was so sorry to read of Bill's passing. I remember him well from working at SLPC and how he always had a smile on his face and something nice to say about everybody. May he rest in peace eternal.
