William W. Janack Jr., age 84 of Heuvelton passed away on April 14, 2026 at the Jefferson County Hospice House in Watertown. There will be a graveside service held at 2:00pm on Monday (April 20, 2026) at the East Road Cemetery in DePeyster with Rev. Rob Schirmer officiating.
Surviving are his siblings Robert & Allen Janack both of Rensselaer Falls; Anna Fifield of Rensselaer Falls, Beatrice & Sheila Janack of Heuvelton.
He was predeceased by three brothers Ronald, James & Frederick Janack and two sisters Jessie Fifield and Thelma Janack.
Bill was born on March 6, 1942 in Pierrepont NY, a son of the late William W. & Nora (Enslow) Janack. He attended Lisbon Central School and worked as a farmer for many years. He also worked at the Sale Barn in Dekalb until 2012 when he retired.
Bill enjoyed Walking is dog Missy, raising miniature horses, cattle farm animals and being in nature. Memorial contributions can be made to the Potsdam Humane Society. Condolences and fond memories can also be shared at www.foxandmurrayfuneralhome.com.
