Alan graduated from Blackwell High School and received his Bachelors of Science Mathematics from Central State University. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and had a passion for golf.
He was survived by his son Alan Ray Price, his wife Mindi Price and his son Jeffery Price, his wife April Price and his four grandchildren Jillian Price, Jorja Price, Maverick Price, and Riker Price.
Alan requested that his friends and family celebrate his life rather than mourn his death. He wanted to encourage everyone he knows to enjoy life to their fullest. A family service will be held at a later date.
The family asks that a donation be made to the Wounded Warriors Project in lieu of flowers.
