Barbara enjoyed her career retiring as an Executive Administrative Assistant with the Braum’s Corporation. Hospitality was a part of her character in both career and social endeavors. She was a member of the Junior Hospitality Club.
She had a passion for her Christian faith and family. And was always positive in every situation. She served as a volunteer at several clubs, organizations, and campaigns. Was an avid bridge player, enjoyed travel, her dogs, and helping others.
She is survived by son Robert Thomas Jr and wife Angie. Grandchildren Robert Thomas III and Shelby Thornton. Nieces Kim Legg, Stephanie Melton, Kathy Willis, Robin Gibson, and Wendy Williams.
Proceeded by Parents Raymond and Ruth Son. Sisters Carolyn Gers, Jan Duncanson, Brother James Son, and nephews Chris Gers and Todd Gers.
A funeral service for Barbara will occur Monday, April 25, 2022, at 10:00 AM at Memorial Park Historic Chapel, 13400 N Kelley Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73131 with a graveside service to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
