Betty Pauline Heeg McDowell, 83, passed away peacefully November 4, 2014 in Austin, TX. She was born in Oklahoma City, OK and lived with a zest for life in Houston and The Woodlands, TX. Betty was preceded in death by her adoring parents George and Gladys Heeg and is survived by her loving children: daughter, Margo McDowell of Austin, TX; son, James McDowell and wife, Kristen of Austin, TX; daughter, Elizabeth Grimm and husband, Russ of The Woodlands, TX; and four grandchildren: Angela Miller, Samuel Watt, Sean Watt, and Ryan Grimm. She was truly treasured by so many cousins and friends.
