sandy and Julie, your mom was the bestest of the bestest friends.she knew how to make you feel welcome and how to warm your heart.even though sometimes several years would go by without our seeing each other,being with her was like we were never apart. The love and the laughs were never ending, making memories over many decades. she knew how to enjoy life.she will live in my heart forever.

My husband,Leland Effenbeck, and I were good friends of your parents when they lived at Deshler. After they moved to Okla. we didn't see them too much. The Reinkes were neighbors and good friends of my in-laws. After I started dating Leland, we were invited to your folks' place for home-made pizza. They were so nice to me! There was only one of you girls then and (whichever one it was) had a cute pink bow scotch-taped in your hair. So cute!! Billie's friend, Lorna, called to tell me about your mom. I am so sorry to hear this. I just loved your mom--she was always so nice to me. My thoughts and prayers to your family now and in the days to come. Leland passed away in 1991. My kids(2) and my six grandkids live close to me in Hebron which helps. May God be with you! Love, Edith Effenbeck
