

Midland, Tx - Bruce William McNabb, 69, passed away unexpectedly February 19 at his home in Midland, TX. Born in Norman, OK, to Norman and Betty Sue Neal McNabb, Bruce attended school in Norman until the family moved to Poteau, OK. He graduated from Poteau High School in 1975 and Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science, Class of 1979. Bruce held an MBA from Our Lady of the Lake University.
He completed careers in Agriculture, Investment Management, Private Banking, Government Defense Contracting and Sales in the Natural Gas Industry spanning 46 years. Bruce was employed with his son's company Texline Energy Services, LLC. A Life Member of the National Eagle Scout Association, he was a member of the Order of the Arrow, served on the Texas Wildlife Association Executive Committee, the Texas Parks & Wildlife Migratory Game Bird Advisory Committee, a Senior Warden of an Episcopal Church, and served as a Volunteer Firefighter for Comfort, TX.
He appreciated art, hunting, classical music, books history, and most especially pursuing the written word of His Lord. He wrote and published a book with his wife - Texit: The Hour of Our Disunion in 2024. Bruce lived quietly, inquisitively, and selflessly. He made folks laugh and brought joy, love and served all; always pure of heart.
Preceded in death by his parents, Bruce is survived by wife, Barbara Kennedy McNabb of the home, son, Ryan McNabb (Paige) of Wink, TX, daughters Mary Katherine McNabb of Austin, TX, Claire Reeves (Jared) of Florida; grandchildren John Wayne McNabb and Leddy Jane McNabb of Wink, TX. Surviving siblings include Dr. Scott McNabb (Charlene) of Wildlight, FL, Susan McNabb Latimer (William) of Clinton, MA, and Dana McNabb Creekmore (Charles) of The Woodlands, TX. His is also survived by his uncle William Neal (Louise) of Wichita, KS, eight nieces and nephews, several cousins, and many dear friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery, 13400 N Kelley, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, on April 6, 2026, at 10:00 am. With burial to immediately follow.
