

Charles "Chuck" Ray Horne, Jr., of Oklahoma City, passed from this life on January 10, 2018 at the age of 66 years. He was born to Charles Ray Horne, Sr. and Sibyl Marie (nee Gee) Horne in Oklahoma City, OK on March 8, 1951. He grew up in Oklahoma City; a member of and baptized at Memorial Christian Church Disciplines of Christ and graduated from Northwest Classen High School in 1969.
After graduation, Charles served twenty-two years active service in the United States Navy (Submarine Fleet); with numerous awards including two Navy Achievement Medals for distinguished service. He attended Oklahoma State University and the University of Central Oklahoma, earning an Associate of Science Degree and Bachelor of Art Degree in Sociology / Chemical Dependency Studies. He was an avid baseball / golf player; especially enjoyed golfing with long time friend Ward "Bud" Miller (Sharon) of Texas. He enjoyed playing online PWI game, motorcycle cruising with wife and friends John and Rita Cotton of Oklahoma City; and having monthly competitively humorous card games/dominoes with his wife and in-laws, J.L. and Florence Lewis of Oklahoma City. He was known "to live life with humor" and to have never met a stranger. He will be greatly missed by many.
He is survived by his partner & wife of 20 years, Diana Horne of Oklahoma City. His son Charles Ray Horne III (Dena) of Burkburnett, TX, daughter Shawna Hawkins (Howard) of Oklahoma City, his step-sons Chris Sugg of Oklahoma City and Joe Hicks of Wanette, OK; and his sister Lois "Tracy" Harris of Luther, OK.
He is also survived by many beloved Grandchildren, Step-Grandchildren, Great–Grandchildren, cousins, an aunt, a sister-in-law and Mom-in-Law.
