

He was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on April 18, 1945 to parents Buford and Johnnie Cleveland. In earlier years Paul attended and graduated from Capitol Hill High School. Following this he furthered his education at the University of Oklahoma where he attended on a wrestling scholarship. Later on in life Paul met Stephanie, and the two were happily married in 2007.
Starting out Paul had a job as a surveyor, which eventually led to a career in Pre-cast Construction where he worked for several companies such as: American Crane, Thomas Concrete, Coreslab Structures, and Gate Precast. He was also a member of the IBEW & Bricklayers Union. Paul had a passion for scuba diving and spear fishing, as well as watching OU women’s softball. He was also an avid collector of shells, rocks, and coins. However, the thing Paul enjoyed the most was spending time with his 4 children and 9 grandchildren.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Buford Cleveland and Johnnie Virginia Cleveland; and Brother, Buford Ronald Cleveland.
Paul is survived by his four children, Jeffrey Cleveland and wife Dana of Moore, David Cleveland of Prague, Kenneh Sala and husband Louis of Brookhaven, NY, and Cassie Haffner and husband Brady of Bartlesville; Nine Grandchildren, Samantha McMillian and husband Nick of OKC, Racine Cleveland of Fayetteville, AR, Jordan Burley and husband Niall of OKC, Davey Cole Cleveland and wife Lauren of Prague, Austin and Mackensie Sala of Brookhaven, NY, Hexton Cleveland of Prague, William Haffner of Bartlesville, and Cynthia Seaton and husband Travis of Paden; Four Great-Grandchildren, Cassidy Jane and Jolleen Seaton, Marley McMillian, and Rory Burley.
Dad you were such an inspiration to us all. We will miss your great one-liners, especially “No Comment”. Your 57 different kinds of ketchup, and your love for ALL sweets! No matter what it was you’d say “I’ve got one of those at home.” Your fun loving spirit, kindness and devotion to our family was immeasurable.
A funeral service will be held for Paul at 10:00 am, Saturday, May 28th, 2022 at Memorial Park Funeral Home with burial to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
