Drakus was a vibrant and spirited young man whose presence left a lasting impression on everyone he met. From an early age, he was full of energy, curiosity, and humor, often found climbing trees, exploring the outdoors, and chasing his next adventure. He had a natural ability to make people smile, even during difficult times, and his playful, goofy personality was something those closest to him will never forget.
As he grew into his teenage years and adulthood, Drakus discovered a deep love for music. He spent countless hours writing and performing rap with friends, using music as a creative outlet and a way to express himself. It was more than a hobby, it was a passion that reflected his individuality and voice.
Drakus also found joy in the simple things. He loved being outdoors, whether going on walks or hiking with friends. Each spring, he looked forward to helping his mother create a backyard garden, carefully selecting flowers and taking pride in watching them grow and flourish. He shared a special bond with his dad through their love of Marvel movies, making it a tradition to see each new release together.
Above all, Drakus will be remembered for his heart, his laughter, and the way he made others feel. He was someone who could light up a room, bring comfort in difficult moments, and leave behind memories that will be cherished forever.
He is survived by his parents, Josh and Mindy Morgan of Oklahoma City; his sisters, Danni, Ivy, and Maddy; his brother, Archer; his grandmother, Janice Lavender (Nana) of Oklahoma City; his grandmother, Caroline Moody (Lina) of San Antonio; his favorite uncle, Tanner Dell’Antonia; his godmother, Amiee Stephenson of Oklahoma City; and countless other aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who loved him dearly.
Though his time here was far too short, the love he gave and the memories he created will continue to grow, like the gardens he helped plant, carried forward in the hearts of all who knew him.
The beat goes on, just in a different way,
in every memory we hold and every word we couldn’t say.
Viewing will be held 4-6pm, Monday, March 23rd at Memorial Park funeral home. Services will be held 2:00 pm, Tuesday, March 24th at the funeral home chapel.
